A box lovingly curated full of Fig and the Wild’s favourite foodie treats from producers that we respect and love, whose wares we use in our kitchens and whose treats we put in our gobs. We have chosen food and drink friends whose values align with ours - quality, sustainability, small batch and locality.

Sea Sisters Rainbow Trout smoked over Oak

An award winning rainbow trout, gently smoked over oak and preserved in extra virgin olive oil from the Uk’s only fish cannery that we were lucky enough today a visit to last month. Charlotte and Angus put so much energy, time and love in to this business and it shows. This is the best tinned fish we have ever, ever eaten!

Honest toil Olive Oil

The only olive oil we will use here at Fig and the Wild. Tom and Juli live in the grove and are committed to producing unfiltered, unblended and cold pressed evoo straight from small scale farms around Kyparissia.

Halen Mon Sea salt

The very first batch of Halen Môn Welsh salt was made on an old Welsh Aga in 1997.  Since then, the Halen Mon team have been awarded the Queen’s Award for Sustainability, become B CORP certified, supplied everyone from Selfridges to Green and Black’s chocolate, and even gained Protected Designation of Origin status for their sea salt. Alison grew up a stones throw away from this amazing producer and we are so happy to have their salt season our food!

Damn spicy nuts

We weren’t sure if we were going to be able to get these in our box in time as they are a brand new product by a fresh Liverpool brand on the cusp of launching but we were lucky enough to get a sneak taste and knew we had to try and get them in our boxes. Best paired with a cold crisp beer, if only you had one to hand ehh……oh hang on…..

Sub’s Suds Pale Ale and Lager Beer

Sub Rosa is our favourite outdoor bar in Liverpool. Dear friend Ped has created the most handsome car park we have ever drank in, and if you aren’t familiar with it then please do check it out when it re-opens next Spring. In the meantime we are honoured to have their two unique beers grace our boxes - a refreshing, crisp lager and a delicious Pale Ale made from citrus hops and brewed by the gang at Black Lodge brewery.

FATSO Sweet Tart Dark Chocolate

Like us, the gang at FATSO are a small but mighty team with all hands firmly on deck. They are all super passionate about what they do, and with their Single origin dark chocolate, they do it so well. ‘Sweet Tart’ is dark chocolate, sweetly seduced by cherries and almonds and lovingly caressed by buttery shortbread. We can often be found replacing lost energy levels mid-shift with this. We think you are going to love it!

Tea with Friends mini book

A handmade booklet with original writing and recipes by Alison for a Winter Feast. You now have no excuse not to ask your friends for tea as there are recipes for Snacks, a main and sides and a dessert alongside some thoughtful musings about Winter.

100% cotton tea towel, dreamed up by us and hand screen printed right here in Liverpool. We love this so much, it is almost too handsome to dry the dishes with.
